VNI015 - Work-Camp Leaders

Duration: Min. 4 weeks, Max. 16 weeks.
Project Tasks: TLs organise and run the work-camps. Before the work-camp begins, TLs will learn from the host organization and other local organisations about the Project to be able to coordinate the volunteers' needs, including accommodation, food, recreation and participation as the main contact for the attending volunteers. Work-camp information will need to be kept up to date for future TLs. TLs will need to ensure that Team meetings are held; cooking schedules organised; the budget is managed and the work is completed so that the volunteers are productive and happy. TLs will also need to participate in the field with a hands on approach.
Who Can Participate?: Two TLs per work-camp. TLs must be between 18 and 35 years of age, with good computer and internet skills; having participated in at least one work-camp before (IVI discounts for this can be arranged.)
Placement Costs: Training, accommodation and food is provided.
Note: Placements start on the 1st June, July, August or September. Team leaders will receive US$100 per month for their efforts.
