RUPZI01 - Photomarathon

Location: Voronezh situated in the very centre of the European part of Russia,
About the Project: A group of vols is invited to participate in a photomarathon in which many local participants will take part with the aim to attract the attention to the problems of the city (pollution, transport, poverty, nationalism), to its historical heritage and with new eyes to fall in love with its beauty.
Terminal: International Airport Domodedovo (Russia, Moscow).
Work: Usually volunteers will work about 30 hours a week (for example six hours a day about five days a week).
Accommodation & Food: In a student hostel, 4 beds per room. Cooking, cleaning, shopping etc. will be done by yourselves.
Free Time: Possibilities include sightseeing, cinemas, theatres, museums, discos, international cultural events, friendly evenings with locals. Excursions to the local natural preserve “Divnogorye” (curative spring and ancient churches hollowed out in chalky hills - be ready to spend 1 weekend in tents!) or to a big monastic complex in the town of Zadonsk and some of the cities of the region (Lipetsk, Yelets).

Required Items: The group camp does not provide with films volunteers who bring not a digital one. Please bring your smiles, good mood, imagination and of course, warm clothes, mosquito repellent, your favorite tapes, CDs, games, musical instruments and cooking recipes from your home country...

Notes: Volunteers aged 18 – 26 years old but exceptions for older volunteers are possible. Since an invitation letter is connected with some additional expenses we are obliged to ask a contribution of 20 Euro from each volunteer upon extra fees mentioned in the description. It covers the insurance for the whole term, invitation state fees, sending the official letter of invitation to the volunteer via usual mail.
