VNI013 - Community Development Administration

Duration: Minimum 3 weeks - maximum 3 months
Location: Ho Chi Minh.
Arrival Airport: Ho Chi Minh International Airport.
Project Tasks: Volunteers do not work directly with children themselves but there will be opportunities to visit the centres who directly look after the children. Volunteers are needed to preform administrative duties and develop sustainable fundraising plans. Volunteers would also be able to assist with training staff in the matters relating to fundraising.
Who Can Participate?: All volunteers wanting to participate in this placement are required to submit a police report which clears them for participation in activities with minors.
Meals: Provided by the host.
Accommodation: Basic accommodation, usually in a Youth house.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Mosquito cream, torch, working gloves, suncream, small gift for children, pictures from their country, special food from their country, cooking book, music instrument, and WARM CLOTHES IN WINTER.
Note: Prefer volunteers with previous experience in this area, however all applications will be considered.
