Duration: 6 months.
Location: Ho Chi Minh.
Arrival Airport: Ho Chi Minh International Airport.
Project Aims: A Vietnamese-run organisation that assists street children and children from very poor families in Ho Chi Minh City.
Project Tasks: Volunteer will be responsible for setting up in and out of school activities with the kids, and also fundraising for this programme.
Who Can Participate?: IVP & SIVP. All volunteers wanting to participate in this placement are required to submit a police report which clears them for participation in activities with minors.
Meals: Provided by the host.
Accommodation: Basic accommodation provided.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Mosquito cream, torch, working gloves, suncream, small gift for children, pictures from their country, special food from their country, cooking book, music instrument, and WARM CLOTHES IN WINTER.
