ARI006 - Indigenous communities

Location: Pampa del Indio is located in the northeastern region of the Province of Chaco, northern Argentina.
Background Information: Panal en el Desierto is an organization of the Christian Evangelist community, for this reason, volunteers must be Christian Evangelist or be respectful of religious ideas different to theirs. It covers an area of 40 km sq. and its population, 20.000 inhabitants, is composed of 50% Creoles and 50% aboriginal Tobas.
Arrival Airport: Buenos Aires Argentina Airport.
Who Can Participate?: Must have experience and knowledge in carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing and gas installation fitting, electricity, knitting, embroidery, production of soap, house farming, first aid, cooking and confectionery, locution, English teaching, health care or Christian Evangelist teaching.
Meals: Contribution for food required.
Accommodation: Accommodation is provided.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Bring their own bedsheets. Must speak Spanish at an intermediate level, be over 21 years of age and be able to obtain a current police clearance.
