UAI001 - Orphanage

Duration: 2 - 4 weeks
Arrival Airport: Lviv International Airport
Project Aims: The orphanage aims to develop young people spiritually and culturally, provide social and material support, protect their rights and freedoms, and to allow them to become empowered members of society.
Project Tasks: - Volunteers help by sharing their life experiences, participating in activities.
- Teaching spoken English.
During Summer Camp volunteers will stay in the local campground with the children.
Who Can Participate?: IVP. All volunteers wanting to participate in this placement are required to submit a police report which clears them for participation in activities with minors.
Placement Costs: Food, accommodation is provided for a contribution of US$71 per week.
Accommodation: During school times accommodation is provided with a host family.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Warm clothes for evenings, hat, sunscreen, towel, mosquito repellent and basic toiletries.
