TRI001 - Teaching Spoken English
Duration: Min 2 weeks max 6 weeks.
Dates: Placement available between December 1st and May 30th of every year.
Project Tasks: - Teaching and living with three Farmer's families in three different areas of the country. All safe from terrorism.
- May also assist on the farms producing Organic Farm Products while living with Turkish families.
Who Can Participate?: Volunteers need to use English as their Primary language.
Optional Activities: Possible to be learning spoken Turkish that will certainly help the family members to better understand the Spoken English. This they want to learn so that they will be able to communicate with workcamp volunteers later in the year.
Meals: Food will be provided by the family
Accommodation: Volunteers will have their own room in the host families house
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Warm clothes for evenings, hat, sunscreen, towel, mosquito repellent and basic toiletries.
Note: Volunteers could combine this placement with their attendance at the ANZAC Day on April 25th either before or after.
