PLI001 - Centre for Children

Duration: 6 weeks +
Location: Zagorze
Background Information: The children have physical disabilities and some are also mentally handicapped.
Arrival Airport: John Paul II International Airport.
Project Tasks: Assist the children in the swimming pool, gym hall, and organising open air activities.
Who Can Participate?: IVP/SIVP. All volunteers wanting to participate in this placement are required to submit a police report which clears them for participation in activities with minors.
Placement Costs: US$70 per week for accommodation, food and some transport.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Warm clothes for evenings, hat, sunscreen, towel, mosquito repellent and basic toiletries.
