FRI001 - Disabled Adults

Duration: 6 weeks +
Location: Sonneville.
Arrival Airport: Charles de Gaulle International Airport.
Project Aims: To live a community life where assistants and people with learning disabilities share the same house/work. To be a place where people with learning disabilities (and assistants) can grow to their full potential in their spirituality, independence, skills and relationships.
Project Tasks: Volunteers can assist with various workshops:
- Horticultural project.
- Landscape gardening contracts.
- Vineyards and therapeutic day workshop.
- Day to day care of residents.
Who Can Participate?: IVP. Volunteers must be able to speak medium level French.
Placement Costs: Food and accommodation provided free for volunteers
Accommodation: Live with other volunteers and residents in one of the four houses.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.

IVP = Placements for individual volunteers with no special experience or training.
SIVP = Placements for volunteers with related experience, expertise or proven interest
