MNI001 - Teaching English

Duration: 2 - 12 weeks
Location: Ulaanbaatar and rural areas.
Arrival Airport: Dalanzadgad Airport
Project Aims: Many Mongolian schools lack the funds to provide effective English language training to their students. Students range from 6-15 years in age. Aim to teach them English.
Project Tasks: Teach English and volunteers and are encouraged to coordinate additional activities such as games, painting and health education in their non-teaching hours.
Who Can Participate?: IVP
Placement Costs: Food and accommodation provided with a host family for US$50 per week for food and accommodation. There is also a US$300 administration fee payable on arrival.
Meals: 2 meals per day.
Accommodation: Home stay.
Hours of Activity: Volunteers generally teach 4 hours per day of English.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Note: Volunteers will be met at the airport.
