INI018 - School for Tibetan Children with special needs

Duration: 6 weeks +
Location: India
Project Tasks: To help with daily activities in the classroom and around the school.
Who Can Participate?: Volunteers with some experience with disabled children are appreciated, and must be open-minded and willing to learn. Qualified teachers to assist in the Classroom.
Meals: A mix of Indian and Tibetan provided by the hosts.
Accommodation: Provided at the school.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Willingness to learn a little Tibetan will be helpful in communicating with the children.
Note: Not available in May or June. More than three months is needed to organise this placement due to special permits needing to be arranged.
