INI007 - Teaching disadvantaged children

Duration: 6 weeks +
Location: Bangalore.
Arrival Airport: Bangalore International Airport.
Project Aims: Provide education, health promotion, community development and vocational training.
Project Tasks: Teach children who come from orphanages, slums and the street in maths, art and sports.
Who Can Participate?: IVP / SIVP
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch is provided every day, volunteers have to supply their own dinner. This can be purchased from local restaurants for approx. AU$2 per meal.
Accommodation: Volunteers have the option of staying in the volunteer house which is a 5 minute walk from the school or staying with a host family. Provided for approx. AU$100 per month
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
