INI011 - Education for rural children

Duration: 3 months +
Location: Neelbagh
Arrival Airport: Bangalore International Airport
Project Tasks: Volunteers will teach English, songs, craft, art and dance in the school.
Placement Costs: Food and accommodation provided at no charge to the volunteer
Meals: Provided by the host. Conditions in this rural school are simple, with Indian vegetarian food.
Accommodation: Provided in the school or with teachers families
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: You will need to write a letter explaining what you hope to gain by volunteering with children in India.
Note: Life in India is very different to that of the West; you are strongly advised to read a guide book before travelling to India.
