BNI002 - Disability services

Duration: 12 weeks +
Location: North-Western Bangladesh
Project Tasks: Providing surgical and clinical facilities to the poor inhabitants of the area to get rid of blindness arising from old age and other problems.
Who Can Participate?: IVP/SIVP. Volunteers with some training or experience in disability services are valued. Physiotherapists would be especially welcome. Opportunities also exist for people with experience in report writing and development issues.
Placement Costs: US$5 per day for food and accommodation. US$150 donation to be paid to the organisation on arrival.
Accommodation: Volunteers have their private room.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
