UGI005 - Model Farms

Duration: Min 4 weeks, max. 52 weeks.
Arrival Airport: Entebbe International Airport.
Project Aims: To improve the opportunities for disadvantaged families and their vulnerable children; those who have been affected either directly or indirectly by HIV/AIDS.
Project Tasks: To teach families how to develop and produce sustainable non-traditional cash cropping.
Who Can Participate?: SIVP.
Placement Costs: Food and accommodation provided for US$50 per week.
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Warm clothes for evenings, sleeping bag, hat, sunscreen, towel, mosquito repellent and basic toiletries.
