CMI003 - Conservation and Ecotourism education

Duration: Min 2 weeks, max. 52 weeks.
Location: North-West Cameroon.
Arrival Airport: Douala International Airport.
Project Tasks: Volunteers are needed to:
- Teach young members of the community about ecotourism
- teach environmental classes in rural schools
- The importance of the care and maintenance of the natural environment for the benefit of local health and the economy of the area.
Who Can Participate?: IVP/SIVP.
Placement Costs: Accommodation and food are provided with a host family for a contribution of AU$40 per week. There is also a once off administration fee of US$60 payable in arrival
Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all participants to obtain any necessary visas.
Required Items: Warm clothes for evenings, sleeping bag, hat, sunscreen, towel, mosquito repellent and basic toiletries.
