Geography: is a transcontinenal country extending over much of northern Eurasia. Russia shares land borders with the following countries (counter-clockwise from northwest to southeast): Norway, Finalnd, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and North Korea.

Climate: Due to Russia's size, it has a  continental climate as well as a sub-tropical climate in varying areas.
