Italian, German, French. Currency: Argentine peso. Learning Spoken Spanish: In order to volunteer at any placement in Argentina, it is required for volunteers to have basic spoken Spanish. However, for those who do not speak Spanish and would like to undertake such placements, Spanish lessons are available prior to commencing volunteering. The Spoken Spanish Courses for IV volunteers consist of one- on- one classes with IV Argentina. The cost is US$12 per hour, with the suggested maximum of 3 hours per day. The maximum cost per week is US$180 (with 10% discount for intensive courses of 3 weeks plus.) Accommodation is available at an Orphanage, which consists of a private room and shared bathroom on a special floor for adult students and volunteers for US$60 per week. To aid the Orphanage, volunteers, at their discretion, can participate in entertaining the children through playing and coaching during their spare time.
