KOSOVO

Geography: It is a province in southern Serbia. Kosovo borders Montenegro to the northwest, central Serbia to the North and East, the Republic of Macedonia to the south and Albania to the southwest. It has a population of around two million people, Albanians, with smaller populations of Serbs, Turks, Bosniacks and other ethnic groups.

Climate: predominantly Mediterranean; Alpine in far north; hot, dry in south.

Languages: Albanian, Serbian, English.

Currency: Euro.
